T2EVOLVE/JOIN4ATMP roundtable discussion at ESCGT 2024

From 22 to 25 october, the European Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (ESGCT) will host its 31st annual congress dedicated to the lastest news in research for gene and cell therapy. Every year, this event brings together experts in the field to discuss the latest advances.
On Thursday October 24th, JOIN4ATMP and T2Evolve consortia are going to lead a roundtable discussion: “T2EVOLVE/JOIN4ATMP Roundtable Discussion: Accelerating Cell and Gene Therapy development through Extrapolation and Platform Approaches”. This event will gather gene and cell professionals and will be presented, among others, by JOIN4ATMP project partners UKW, VHIO, UNISR and FTELE. The session, led by UKW, will showcase two real case examples on parent-child platform for CAR-T cell therapies targeting solid tumors, and platform approach for ex-vivo gene therapies for lysosomal storage disorders presented by our partners VHIO and Fondazione Telethon.
Later in the afternoon, JOIN4ATMP coordinator Annette Künkele-Langer from Charité will present the JOIN4ATMP project and explain its mission and concrete objectives.
Finally, JOIN4ATMP partner FTELE will present the JOIN4ATMP project via the poster: “JOIN4ATMP Consortium: New frameworks for value assessment, pricing and reimbursement schemes of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products”. The poster will highlight the importance of the JOIN4ATMP initiative and the potential of its pluri-disciplinary consortium to foster new pathways for ATMP development and ensure wide-spread ATMP access.
The European University Hospital Alliance (EUHA) presents exciting opportunities to attract more stakeholders to contribute significantly to the success of the JOIN4ATMPproject and the ATMP cause in general.
